Dumbfoundead
It's one of those songs where you hear the first chord and you know it's going to be sexy. Too easy.
"Its rare nowadays to find an independent girl, that doesnt care how youre paid,
So when you find her, dont scare her away. Shes a keeper, supporter of your talent
She understands your struggle and the shortage in your balance"

Fame
Besides procrastinating on these designs for some new t-shirts, i have a job. Yes, I work and I work a lot. Currently I'm located at a Business Hotel in Irvine, CA. and I somewhat enjoy it even though I see the same depressed, lonely, rich men every week. Anyway, besides that I get asked a lot if famous people stay at the hotel. No not at all. But Barack Obama stayed at our hotel back in early November of 06, so I guess that makes up for all the famous people that don't stay at our hotel. One person, however, I do want to talk about is Matt Keough. I had no clue who Matt Keough was until a guest came up to me one time and asked me if that was him. I told him it was and then the guest began to tell me who he actually was. Keough was a 9 year major leaguer and in 1978 he was a mlb all-star, also in 1980 he was the AL comeback player of the year. Amazing right? But the first couple stays Keough was a little "off". Every time he stayed he always bought beer out of the market and drank.. excessively. It got to the point where I had to threaten him that I would call the cops or help him to his room. Evidently, I later found out he was going through a divorce and yadada and he was the husband of one of the Orange County Housewives show thing. All in all, he's back at the hotel again and it seems as if he's sobered up. He went through rehab or something because I can actually talk to him. Super mellow guy.. hopefully he hooks me up with some baseball tickets.

The Tao of Wu

Just finished reading this book! RZA's knowledge and wisdom surpasses my assumption of what I thought he really was. As you read this book you begin to see RZA is clearly infatuated with religion, numerology, and chess. It's quite amazing to see someone who doesn't fall under the stereotype and yes.. he's amazing at chess. The way he just explains how to play chess is fascinating. All in all it was a fun read and I learned a lot about Wu-Tang, RZA, and life in itself. Check RZA's short interview here.

Reunion
It's BEEN A YEARRRRRRR!
Year of what?
Answer: That Mr. Wesley Koh has not had a car!!
It's been such a ridiculously, hard, lame year. I never really said much, but holy hell it was so hard to survive this past year without a car. Bumming people for rides and what not sucks so bad. Although I hate how I could not drive for a year, it has truly humbled me and what I have. I really need to check myself and set things right, or at least do SOME things right. I'm so selfish. So sad. I apologize to everyone that I may have burdened with, with my car situation ride. EEEEK But riding the train was fun and I met a lot of weird and funny people. Man oh man this friday I get my car backkkkk goddddd I feel like I've been missing an arm for a year!! Well, now it's time to play a lot this year, my social life decreased dramatically cause of this no car bullshet.

Big Ben Pt. 2
I emailed him earlier about how I felt about his company and he was very appreciative. I also asked if I could send him a free shirt of ours! This is his response:

Thank you for the email, It made my day. I am glad you appreciate the brand and i can always use more fans of it - haha.
Your shirt looks rad. If you can spare one I will wear it. I wear a medium.
all the best!

Big Ben

New interests. I obviously love prolific clothing! One of my new interests that I've been eyeballing for a while is Benny Gold. This clothing line is solely run by one person and one person only. His name is Benny Gold evidently naming his clothing line after himself, because he can.. "streetwear" is so difficult to keep track of because new assorted brand labels constantly pop up! Yes, I can name my top 5 brands that I love, but one that is coming up that I've never given the time of day is Benny Gold. Truly inspiring to see this guy do EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING by himself. How is that possible? I don't know, but he can shred on the board too. This guy is a beast all around and his clothing has such a strong frisco flavor I love it!! Anyway, check the site and open your eyes to this brand. I've learned something new today too.. Don't underrate anything!

Childhood Movies Pt. 2
LOL at Wesley's post. I definitely watched Sound of Music and 3 Ninjas too many times. Here are a few that instantly popped into my head as I took a look back. (And Wes - you posted 13 effing movies. And half of those I totally agree with you. Can't top 13, yo.)

Easy classic. My favorite Disney movie so far. The songs were good, the plot was good, the characters were funny... Man, such a classic.

I don't know why but I watched this movie a lot. I don't even know the real name of that kind of dog. I just call it the Beethoven dog now.

Uh... Classic movie duh! I remember the canned soup that Goofy heated up with the cigarette lighter, and I always wanted to try that. And the canned cheese looked kinda yummy.

HAHAHA! Talking cats and dogs! I freaking loved this movie!

This movie was the shit. When the white ranger came out... EPIC! And they all turned into ninjas!! And their new animal robot things were freaking tight too!! Ivan Ooze!!

Yo I don't know why, but I thought this movie was so cool. I don't even remember the plot, but every time I vacuum, I always think of that grumpy vacuum cleaner character.

I don't remember too much from this movie, but I know it was kinda trippy. I liked the trippyness though.

My personal favorite: Space Jam. I was super geeked up about this movie and I got it on VHS for my birthday when I was like 7 I think. Back then it was such a cool movie. Tha Monstars were tightttttt.

Childhood Movies.
Okay, random. I've been wanting to do a post about movies. I'm not a movie buff or anything, but I just remember these movies from my childhood and I absolutely watched each and every movie AT LEAST 5 times. Everybody talks about movies in the past, but what about these super oldies?! I'm pretty sure these movies are all in the 90s', so here we go.
* Movies you should've watched as a kid! If you didn't go watch.*
Honey, I shrunk the Kids. The title is self-explanatory, he basically shrinks the kids as well as his neighbors. It's a super cool movie about how the kids go through an adventure through their yard and trying to un-shrink them.
Mrs. Doubtfire!! My favorite Robin Williams movie ever. I mean yes he was good in dead poets society, patch adams, good will hunting, etc. But this is by far the best. It's an awesome movie about a divorced dad trying to just see his kids more often. If you haven't watched this, it's a must.

Um.. I must say girly movie. But I was young and "Doe A Dear" or "So Long Farewell" are just too catchy to resist.

This is also a very very girly movie, but I always thought that Matilda reminded me of my cousin Kelsey. Kinda weird movie too..

Don't know why this picture came out so small. Anyway, this movie is freaking amazing. Super girly movie, but this was the FIRST movie I ever cried watching. Sad...

All of the Home Alone Movies are awesome. Side note is it just me or does the red house in between Home and Alone, remind you of the monopoly game house thing?

Another Robin Williams film he did. This movie is complete of amazingness. Also, Roofio? Is that his name? I don't know, but he was my hero. AND! I love the part where they have dinner and "imagine" they're eating. Such a cool scene.

Have you watched 500 days of summer? Know the main character Tom? Yah.. that's him in the movie as a little kid.

I've had conversations about this movie and no one has seem to ever watch this movie. Bizarre. It was like a war movie for kids.

My Girl... WHO DIDN'T HAVE A CRUSH ON THIS GIRL AS A KID. SHITT!
**Choco I don't know if you'll read this, but post your old movies you watched as a kid. Although I kind of posted like 20.**

More Shoes

I remember the first pair of dunks I bought back in 05'ishhh? somewhere round' my 2nd year of high school. They were brown/black dunk lows. Ended up growing out of them quickly, but quite possibly one of my favorite shoes ever. Because I'm such a nice fellow I decided to give them away to someone who can fit in'em. Anywho, since then i've been buying and buying..... shoes and it kinda sucks cause it has left me broke so so so many times. Numerous overdraft fee's! Nike is amazing and every year they always put out shoes that do not disappoint! BUTTTT VANS has stepped it up and now I'm on my 4th pair of vans?? This one is the Chukka lows. Coming out in November!!!! So sickkkk I'm excited to add to my vans collection.

Reed Pages

Reed Pages
You definitely need to cop one of these. Whether you love music, art, clothing, or whatever, you need to subscribe for this zine!. This zine is bleeding with inspiration with every word! I was in utter awe and amazement when I first saw this and reading it was just a blunder of goosebumps. A little background on the paper industry is really weak as of right now. As many of us know newspaper, zines, articles are all going down hill.. quickly. The Internet, blogging, internet newspapers, etc are currently taking over and most likely for good. So, tell me.. what mad man would create a zine and publish it when the paper era is faced with this? JeffStaple would.. Absolutely he would! I cannot believe he went against the tide to go ahead and publish this zine, yet I'm so blessed to have it in my hands. Jeff never ceases to inspire me and I'm glad he likes to go against his odds when the odds are at win. Thank you Jeff. Thank you Reed Pages.

Poppin' the Cherry
So, welcome to TCK's very own blog. Wes and I will try to be as professional about this blog as we can, and update accordingly. But instead of just typing out words to bore you with, Wes creatively suggested making video blogs for everyone to enjoy. I know there are less than 40 people in this world who know what The Community Kids are, but we just want to go in a cooler, more fun/interesting route for our fans. So to you loyal 34 people, enjoy our first post.
